In this workshop we learn the process of making decisions in a group that is committed to sharing power including:

• basic co-governance meeting mechanics

• the variety of democratic decision rules and processes out there (and when to use them)

• tips for starting your group off on the right decision-making foot.

We'll discuss different decision making processes used by co-governed groups, focusing on the benefits, challenges, and appropriate contexts for each process. Participants will guide a large portion of the discussion by analyzing their own company’s decision making case-studies, and will receive tips and tools for improving their processes.
