Instructor: Kate “Sassy” Sassoon
In this course, we will explore how to leverage shared ownership to build and engage community. We’ll share how to build a strong culture and work with your membership to set rights and responsibilities using tools like:
Community Agreements
Codes of Community Conduct (and how we enforce them)
Cultural Setting as a tool for cultivating “buy-in” and engagement
We will focus in on these key Policies & Processes as tools to proactively engage your community, through co-creating the guidelines for behavior and norms for communication that embody the values and culture of an organization (and a movement). Through participant-driven discussion we will explore just what are they, why we need them, and how to create, use, and uphold them in our unique communities and organizations.
